New peanut allergy clinic opens in Cambridge

A new clinic dedicated to peanut allergy is now open to referrals for children aged 7 to 16.

The clinic is for fee-paying patients and is run by Cambridge University Hospitals. It is led by allergists Dr Pamela Ewan and Dr Andrew Clark and offers a range of services including immunotherapy.

Although our intention is to make all services available to both NHS and private patients, please note that peanut immunotherapy is not currently offered on the NHS. We are following the process to get NHS funding, but this will take time, and patient eligibility criteria may apply.

If you would like to know more, or to ask for a consultation, please contact us. Appointments are limited, and some services require tests to confirm suitability.
